New Orders exhibition
After visiting le Grand Atelier du Midi in the Palais Longchamp, I got to visit the New Orders exhibition at la Friche la Belle de Mai, which was specially developed for Marseille-Provence 2013 in collaboration with the Atelier Van Lieshout.
This exhibition is big and only something for you, if you are a huge fan of modern art. I really enjoyed the photographic collection, which still can be seen until the 29th of September.
Food from the Gourméditerranée association
and a rooftop sunset at the Cité radieuse
What is better after a long, interesting but also exhausting day, than to wallow in french cuisine? Right! To have dinner made by the chefs and restaurateurs of the Gourméditerranée association. Led by Gérald Passedat, Lionel Lévy and Guillaume Sourrieu, 40 chefs from Marseille and surrounding areas have come together, some famous with Michelin stars, others less well-known but just as enamoured with cuisine “made in Marseille”, united by one idea: to promote the area through their love of their region’s culture, produce and gastronomy.
How can you not overeat, when every bite is just a little (or huge) piece of heaven? After walking around all day, that night, I fell into bed and was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
